Here are a few tips to make the most of your appointment as we move into warm weather.
The warmer weather signaling the approach of late spring and early summer is here! With it there are a few tips we can provide to make sure that you are still making the most of your real estate photography appointments.
Prep Your Lawn
Hot weather, especially if it stays as dry as our spring has been, can wreak havoc on your lawn. Before we get into the heat of summer, make sure that your lawn is protected with the appropriate amendments, patch any bare spots, and irrigate it as needed. Following these simple steps will help it look it’s greenest in exterior shots.
As an alternative, we do offer digital landscaping corrections. Our editors will take your normal exterior photos and edit them to fix temporary landscaping problems (brown spots, bare patches, etc.).
Wash Away Pollen
As we move to the end of spring, it is time to consider rinsing away the layer of pollen that has inevitably formed on everything that you own. Most times washing this away is as simple as using a garden hose and maybe a light cleaning solution. If it has been a while since your home was thoroughly cleaned, it may be worth considering having a professional take care of it. This brief investment of time can make a huge difference to how your home presents in listing photos.
Stage Accordingly
An often underestimated aspect of real estate photography is the power of staging an outdoor space. This time of year, people are craving the sunshine and warmth, so make sure your outdoor spaces reflect the breezy, sunkissed ideas that float through everyone's head. Some bistro lights, an umbrella, clean patio furniture, a potted plant, etc. will sufficiently set the tone of your outdoor space to really draw in a buyer.
